This time from a CraigsList ad out of Carrollton, Texas.
As far as I can tell, it is a mid century modern Lane piece. Lane is an American company that was influenced by Scandinavian designs in the 50s and 60s. Since they are not well-known designer pieces like Eames and Saarinen, Lane items often go overlooked. This is a benefit to me because that means I can actually afford them.
I love that the little brown bottles we gave you for your birthday add such a nice touch to the top of your new table! And this is one case where YOU have the designer photo, if what you’ve said about Craig’s List photos is true!
It is a wonderful piece. Your place is inspiring!
I’d love to install mirrors in a few of those openings and really mess with Jin and Poly.
